One-Year Limited Warranty

All hooded throws purchased directly from MissHoodzy are covered by a One-Year Limited Warranty against manufacturing and material defects, effective from the original date of delivery.

What is Covered?

This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal household use, including:

Seam Separation/Splitting: Failure of stitching along seams where the fabric pieces meet.

Stitching Failure: Loose, broken, or failed decorative or structural stitching within the blanket itself.

Structural Material Defects: Any failure of the original fabric materials (e.g., unexpected unraveling, pilling/shedding that occurs immediately upon first washing, or dye lot bleeding under normal washing conditions).

What is NOT Covered?

This limited warranty does not cover issues arising from misuse or normal wear and tear:

Normal Wear and Tear: Gradual fading, pilling, or softening that occurs naturally over extended use and time.

Customer Misuse: Damage caused by improper washing (e.g., using high heat or harsh chemicals), accidental spills, rips, burns, or excessive force.

Pet Damage: Damage caused by chewing, scratching, or tearing by household pets.

Third-Party Damage: Damage caused by dry cleaners or laundry services not following our care instructions.

📝 Making a Warranty Claim

If you believe your hooded throw has a manufacturing or material defect covered by this warranty, please follow these steps:

Provide Information: Include your original order number and the date of purchase.

Submit Evidence: Attach clear photographs or a short video showing the specific defect (e.g., a close-up of the broken seam).

Assessment: Our team will review your claim and confirm coverage under the warranty terms.

Our Warranty Resolution

If your claim is approved, we will offer one of the following solutions at our discretion:

Replacement: A free replacement of the same product (color/style permitting).

Repair: Professional repair of the defect.

Store Credit: Issuance of store credit equal to the original purchase price.

Please Note: The customer may be responsible for a nominal shipping fee to cover the cost of sending the replacement item.

Your Responsibility

To ensure your warranty remains valid and your throw stays in perfect condition, you must strictly follow the care instructions outlined on our Product Care Guide. Failure to follow these instructions may void the warranty.
